I met Liezle today so we could try to find a quicker bus to the GNU ("big" college in Jinju) campus. Our old route took between 30 and 40 minutes depending on lights and the craziness of the driver. We got on a different bus today and it took 10 minutes. So we were happy that we found a quicker route, but then had a spare 30 minutes we didn't know what to do with. So we walked around the area near campus. That's where the Starbucks is. We checked out a few places to possibly go for lunch. There was another cute Italian place, but it was kind of pricey and we weren't really feeling Korean food, so we ended up going to a place called Lendy's. They have pitas and pita pizzas. We got honey chicken pitas, which were really good, but kind of small. They came in a "set" which is like a "meal" (like at McDonald's) with an Italian soda. We both tried berry berry. It was berry good - hah you like that pun?

Get it? Candy bar...like a candy bar, but also a bar where you can drink? Clever, huh? Never actually been inside. |

Random bar near campus. These 2 were having a grand ol' time. |

The interesting thing about Lendy's is that there are 4 cats running around the cafe. One is an older white and orange one, who just had surgery of some sort because he had stitches on his back. He was very friendly and kept jumping on me, Liezle and the table. We pushed him off when the food came, but he really wanted to be near us. Then there were 2 white almost kittens who kept knocking each other in the head. They were pretty funny to watch. The last one was a tiny baby orange kitty who could fit in the palm of my hand. He sat on my lap for awhile and when I put him down, he tried to attack the white kitten who then sat on him.

Oldest cat wanting a tummy rub. He actually rolled on his back a few times until we did it. |
After lunch we went back over towards our schools and ran into Spencer. The three of us sat under a little pavillion with some old Korean ladies and talked and had some drinks (Coke light for me). Then I went to school and had a typical day.
